UPDATE... STORE, PET-WASH, GROOMING, MASSAGE, TRAINING TO RE-OPEN! (Keep Reading for More Details!) Effective May 12, 2020 we have been informed by the Ohio Department of Health that we will be able to re-open some of our services, which have been previously closed, with some restrictions and limitations. See below for the current status of Alpha-Dog Pet Center's retail store and our services...

RETAIL STORE

Alpha-Dog Pet Center has been open all along taking Call-Ahead Orders for Curbside Pickup. On Tuesday, 5/12 we will be OPENING for customers to SHOP INSIDE, if they wish. We will STILL be offering the Call-Ahead/Curbside option for those who can't or don't wish to come inside. For those guests coming inside our store, social distancing requirements will be in effect. There will be a limit of FOUR (4) customers inside at any time. We are also requesting that customers wear face masks, if possible, for everyone's protection. We also ask that people limit the handling of merchandise that they do not intend to purchase. We will be wiping and sanitizing (especially high-touch areas) continually throughout the day.

SELF-SERVE PET WASH

We have been doing trial-runs of having the Pet Wash open for the last week. Effective 5/12, the Self-Serve Pet Wash will officially re-open, however for the time being the Pet Wash will NOT be open 24-hours, like it used to be, because we are now required to have a member of the Alpha-Dog team SANITIZE it between each use. (It is still really important for guests to spray the pet wash at the end, to clean-up after themselves, as it will allow us to sanitize more quickly, for a shorter turnaround time between customers!) For now, the Self-Serve Pet Wash will be open during the retail store's REGULAR BUSINESS HOURS (Tues-Wed 10a-6p; Thurs 4p-9p; and Fri-Sat 10a-6p). We will TRY to periodically have the Pet Wash open for a few hours on our days off (Sundays & Mondays), so check our FB page as we will post something on our Facebook page, if we plan to be here to open the Pet Wash at a time we are normally closed. We realize this is not as convenient as the 24/7 schedule we used to have, and we don't have a timeline for when it will return to 24-hour operation, but for now we hope you'll agree that part time is better than nothing!

GROOMING

Our Groomer, Savannah, will be starting back to work on Wednesday, May 13th. We are SO EXCITED to have her back to work with us, again! She is currently already taking appointments for grooms into the month of June, as there is a (expectedly) very high demand for grooming right now, since most all groomers have been closed for almost 2 months! If you are interested in getting on the schedule, please don't delay! Call us at (440) 984-3152 to schedule. To our clients bringing pets for grooming appointments: We are currently asking that ONLY ONE (1) PERSON come inside with your pet for drop-off and/or pick-up. Also, you may call us from the parking lot at (440) 984-3152, if you would prefer to have Savannah come to your car for pick-up or drop-off of your pet.

VIP PET CARE (Vaccine & Microchip Clinics)

Currently, we do not know when the next VIP Petcare clinic will be held, here at Alpha-Dog Pet Center. Last we heard, VIP Petcare has suspended all community clinics through the end of May. We do not know yet about the status of the June 11th Clinic date, but we will keep you posted as soon as we know more!

MASSAGE THERAPY

Kerry, our Canine Massage Therapist from Equiflexion Small Animal and Horse Massage is allowed to resume Pet Massage Therapy appointments, effective May 12th. Kerry schedules her own appointments, and can be reached at [email protected] or via telephone at (330) 472-8126.

We are once again able to offer in-person Dog Training & Behavior Modification Services.
